How can an employer forbid an employee from smoking when cigarettes are NOT illegal? - can an employer forbid you to smoke

Likewise, you can smoke in my house. My property, my rules. Real estate business, the company rules.

The employer is responsible for the health and welfare responsibility of all employees who do not want only those who smoke, with others. It costs the employer more than to smoke, not to be tolerated. Some employees are not tolerated because it is asthma or chronic bronchitis or any other condition that would allow dangerous for them to be exposed to cigarette smoke. There should be more careful when dealing with colleagues so that they are able to maintain a high level of health without, exposed to smokers.

Because they have the right to establish the circumstances of their employment. They ask him to come to work every day, even if it is not illegal to jump, so you can not do to be fired. A company can smoke a policy, during the hours of business, you can not.

Alcohol is legal, purple socks are legitimate, such as funny hats. However, if the company decides that there is no place for them at work is their prerogative.

Cigarettes are not illegal, but employers may prohibit employees from smoking during working hours or on the website, if your company has a policy of not smoking. A policy of no smoking in the workplace (or work) is entirely legal.

The laws of clean air, which vary by state. The tragedy is that smoking kills, but it takes so long. If you are a deep breath and fell dead, not talk about it.

Cigarettes are not illegal, but again, the dismissal of an employee without giving any reason is not illegal, either. Make your choice.
